Drying and/or cooling of Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)

SLS is an detergent and surfactant is found in many personal care products (soaps, shampoos, toothpaste etc.) SLS Needles is a superior raw material for building compounds in industrial and household cleaning applications. TEMA Fluid bed technology is used for drying and/or cooling of SLS. The air which is used in the fluid bed performs two functions. First, the air flows through the layer of solids at a velocity sufficient to support the weight of the particles, which creates a fluidized state enabling the particles to flow. Second, the air in the fluid bed serves to cool, heat or dry the particles as it comes into direct contact with the solids material within the fluid bed chamber. Cooling of SLS: With fluid bed coolers, ambient air is taken in using fans and, in most climates, the air must be chilled (or treated) before being blown across the product.
