For certain products, the drying or cooling process is too complex to be accurately tested at the Tema Process laboratory. This may be due to specific upstream process conditions, sensitive material behavior, large particle size distributions, safety requirements, or integration with existing plant equipment.
For these applications, Tema Process supplies laboratory and pilot-scale fluidized bed test dryers that are installed and operated at the customer’s site. This enables testing under real production conditions, using the customer’s own product, process interfaces, utilities, and control philosophy.
On-site testing allows customers to:
• Accurately validate complex drying and cooling processes
• Capture the interaction with upstream and downstream equipment
• Generate reliable scale-up data for industrial fluidized bed systems
• Reduce technical, operational, and investment risks
• Ensure the final dryer design meets all process and product constraints
All Tema test dryers are designed according to the same engineering principles as full-scale industrial units, ensuring predictable scale-up and a smooth transition from testing to production.
